Head unit
1 LIST button
Press to display the disc title list, track title
list, folder list, file list or preset channel list
according to the source.
2 DISPLAY button
Press to select different displays.
3 OPEN button
Press to open the front panel.
4 CLOCK button
Press to change to the clock display.
5 16 buttons
Press for preset tuning and disc number
search when using a multi-CD or multi-DVD
player.
6 SW button
Press to directly select subwoofer setting
menu. See Using subwoofer output on page
51. Press and hold to select EQ-EX setting
menu. See Compensating for equalizer
curves (EQ-EX) on page 48.
7 Multi-Control
Move to do manual seek tuning, fast for-
ward, reverse and track search controls.
Also used for controlling functions.
Turn it to increase or decrease the volume.
8 EQ button
Press to select various equalizer curves.
9 BAND button
Press to select among three FMbands and
one AMband and to cancel the control
mode of functions.
a SOURCE button
This unit is turned on by selecting a source.
Press to cycle through all the available
sources.
Remote control
Operation is the same as when using the but-
tons on the head unit.
b VOLUME buttons
Press to increase or decrease the volume.
