Adjusting the LCD during PLAY
✤ You can adjust the LCD during playback.
✤ The adjustment method is the same procedure as used in
CAM mode. (see page 29)
The Speaker works in VCR mode only.
■ When you use the LCD screen for playback, you
can hear the recorded sound from
the built-in Speaker.

Follow the instructions below to decrease
or mute speaker volume in the VCR mode.
- Take the following steps to lower the volume
or mute the sound while playing a tape
on the VCR.
1. Set the power switch to VCR mode.
2. Press (PLAY/STILL) to play the tape.
3. When you hear sounds once the tape is in play,
use the MENU DIAL to adjust the volume.
■ A volume level display will appear on the LCD.
Levels may be adjusted from anywhere between
00 to 19 and you will not hear any sound when
the volume is set on 00.
■ If you close the LCD while playing, you will not
hear sound from the speaker.

(magnétoscope).
■ Quand vous utilisez l’écran LCD pour la lecture,
le son de l’enregistrement que vous entendez
est émis par le haut-parleur intégré.

Procédez comme suit pour baisser le volume
ou couper le son en mode VCR.
- Procédez comme suit pour baisser le volume
ou couper le son pendant la lecture d'une
cassette sur le magnétoscope.
1. Placez le bouton d’alimentation en mode VCR.
2. Appuyez sur (PLAY/STILL) pour lire la
cassette.
3. Une fois que la lecture a commencée et que vous
entendez des sons, utilisez le sélecteur MENU
DIAL pour régler le volume.
■ Un affichage de niveau de volume apparaît
alors sur l’écran LCD. La plage de réglage du
volume est comprise entre 00 et 19.
Aucun son n'est audible quand le volume est
réglé sur 00.
■ Si vous fermez l’écran LCD pendant la
lecture, vous n’entendez pas le son émis par
le haut-parleur.
