The clear frame filter

A TV screen displays 30 frames per second, and each
frame image consists of two field images which are
renewed every 1/60 seconds (interlace video system).
Capturer captures this frame image, but sometimes
there is noise in a frame image captured at a very high
speed, because the two field images are different.

Clear frame filter technology can remove this noise

from the captured image.

When you choose the [Adaptive] option for the
[Deinterlace] command in the [Images] menu

Viewer compares the two field images to detect parts
of the images which have large differences caused by
motion, then synthesizes the two field images into one
clear image.

When you choose the [Field] option for the

[Deinterlace] command in the [Images] menu

Viewer forms an image from only one of the field
images. This will remove the noise, but the image
quality is lower than the [Adaptive] option because
the other field data is lost.

Field 1 image (odd Field 2 image (even
scanning lines only) scanning lines only)

The noise is
removed.

Parts of the image where there is no difference

between the two field images remains as it is.
