Installation Instructions
General Instructions
A qualified service technician should install the
appliance and inspect it before use.
The installation must conform with local codes or, in
the absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas
Code, ANSI Z223.1.
The appliance and its appliance main gas valve must
be disconnected from the gas supply piping system
during any pressure testing of that system at test
pressures in excess of 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa).
The appliance must be isolated from the gas supply
piping system by closing its equipment shutoff valve
during any pressure testing of the gas supply piping
system at test pressures equal to or less than 1/2 psi
(3.5 kPa).
Refer to the conversion manual for converting the
appliance to use natural gas.
Do not install this appliance indoors.
WARNING
Do not use substitute materials.
Use only parts certified with the appliance.
Before Installation
Check for Damage Check for damage. Do not install any damaged items. Check that you have all the
components you require.
Read Instructions Before using the appliance please read the entire manual to ensure correct use. Failure
to follow these instructions could cause a malfunction of the appliance. This could result
in death, serious injury and /or property damage. Failure to follow these instructions may
also void your warranty.
Appliance Location Choose a location that meets the clearances to combustibles and non-combustibles.
Avoid locating the appliance near trees or bushes. Take into account how the appliance
is to be supplied with gas.
