Flush island trim or low backguard attached ac-

cording to instructions.
Verify that the ExtraLow® feature works and re-

lights around the entire burner.

Gas supply

Gas Connection: ¾" (19 mm) N.P.T. with a min. ¾"

(19 mm) diameter flex line.
If converting from natural to LP gas, refer to LP

Conversion Instructions for details.
Manual gas shut off valve installed in an accessible

location (without requiring removal of appliance).
Owner is aware of location of the gas shut-off

valve.
Unit tested and free of gas leaks.

Electrical

A dedicated polarized and grounded 120VAC re-

ceptacle with a 15/ 20 AMP over current protection

is required for cord connection.
Proper ground connection.
Owner is aware of location of the main circuit

breaker.

Operation

Bezels centered on burner knobs, and knobs turn

freely.
Verify flame at each burner. Flame may need to

burn for several minutes to remove impurities from

the gas lines.
Each burner lights satisfactorily, both individually

and with other burners operating.
Burner grates correctly positioned, level, and do

not rock.
INSTALLER: Write the model number and serial

number in the Use and Care Guide. Leave the Use

and Care Guide and Installation Guide with the

owner of the appliance.

You can find the model number (E-Nr.) and the production

number (FD) on the appliance's rating plate.

Making a note of your appliance's details and the Cus-

tomer Service telephone number will enable you to find

them again quickly.

The rating plate is located as indicated in the figure below.
