SEMI FLUSH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1) Set bar down on top of socket. Align hole in bar with hole in socket.

2) Thread thumbscrew down through hole in bar and into socket.

Tighten thumbscrew to secure bar in place.

3) Repeat steps #1-2 for remaining bar.

4) Raise socket assembly up into shade.

5) Align holes in outer edge of bar with holes in top of shade.

6) Thread screws down through holes in shade and into bar. Tighten

screws to secure socket assemble in place.

7) Screw end of stem into coupling on top of socket assembly.

8) Pass hole in canopy over end of threaded pipe.

9) Slip lockwasher over end of threaded pipe protruding from inside

canopy. Thread hexnut onto threaded pipe.

10) Follow steps #14-22 in Stem Drop Installation Instructions.

STEM DROP INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1) Set bar down on top of socket. Align hole in bar with hole in socket.

2) Thread thumbscrew down through hole in bar and into socket.

Tighten thumbscrew to secure bar in place.

3) Repeat steps #1-2 for remaining bar.

4) Raise socket assembly up into shade.

5) Align holes in outer edge of bar with holes in top of shade.

6) Thread screws down through holes in shade and into bar. Tighten

screws to secure socket assemble in place.

7) Pass wire from fixture through stem and screw stem into coupling on

top of socket assembly. NOTE: Thread locking compound must be

applied to all stem threads as noted with symbol (3) to prevent

accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, relamping, etc.

8) Pass fixture wire through remaining stems and screw stems together.

9) Thread one small threaded pipe into end of each small loop.

10) Attach small loop to end of last stem.

11) Pass threaded pipe at end of second small loop through hole in canopy.

12) Slip lockwasher over threaded pipe protruding from inside of canopy

and screw hexnut onto threaded pipe.

13) Attach chain link to small loop at end of stem and to loop on canopy.
14) TURN OFF POWER.

IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without

shutting off the electricity until the work is done.

a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. Place

the main power switch in the “OFF” position.

b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker

switch(s), that control the power to the fixture or room that you

are working on.

c) Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position. If the fixture to be

replaced has a switch or pull chain, place those in the “OFF”

position.

15) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap. Assemble

mounting screws into threaded holes.

16) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided). Mounting

strap can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.

17) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.) Reference chart

below for correct connections and wire accordingly.

18) Push fixture to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws through

holes in canopy.

19) Secure fixture to ceiling with knurl knobs.

20) Raise glass up to fixture. Fit glass inside shade.

21) Pass hole in glass over socket.

22) Slip spacer over socket. Thread socket ring onto socket. Tighten

socket ring to secure glass in place. (DO NOT over tighten.)
