Danger
To avoid the risk of severe electrical shock Including death, do not remove covers
(or back) of monitor. No user serviceable parts are inside. Refer servicing to qualified
service personnel.

Warning
To prevent risk of electric shock and possible fire:
Do not use an extension cord or an apapter, but always plug your monitor's AC line
cord directly Into a properly polarized and grounded socket.
Never place any object on the line cord, or cause It to make a sharp bend, or other
wise do anything that can affect the Integrity of the line cord. Always remove the line
cord from a socket by holding the plug, not the cord.
Do not place anything containing any liquid (even a wet or damp cloth) on the monitor
as the Introduction of fluids can create an electrical hazard. Do not expose the moni
tor to rain or moisture.
Do not place the monitor with less than the recommended clearance (see Precautions,
1 installation). Do not block the ventilation openings with anything. Do not Insert any
objects Into the ventilation openings.
Use the supplied CSA and UL approved line cord In the United States and Canada, the
female socket Is CEE-22 (Figure 1), the male plug is a NEMA 5-15 style (Figure 2) and
Is UL and CSA labeled. For units which are mounted on a desk of table, type SVT or
SJT cord sets may be used. For units which sit on the floor, only SJT type cord sets
may be used. The cord set must be selected according to the current rating for your
unit. Please consult Table A for the selection criteria for power cords used In the
United States and Canada. (Your cord set Is marked with its Cord Type.)
