• Do not touch the bulb
immediately after use
as it will be very hot.
Handle the bulb
carefully,
• Avoid touching the
surface of the new
bulb and the inside of
the reflector. Keep
them clean to ensure
the bulb efficiency.
WARNING
Do not touch the lens
and connectors when
changing the bulb to
prevent burning or
electrical shock.
Changing the bulb
The lamp is consumable. As the color reproduction
may be poor or the picture may be dark after about
2000 hours of use, change the bulb.
Use only the Sony XB-CPJ2MH Lamp Unit for
replacement.

Turn off the power and disconnect the AC power
cord.

Wait until the bulb has cooled down (about 30
minutes).

Loosen the screw of the bulb cover using a coin,
etc., and remove the bulb cover.

Remove the screw securing the bulb unit using a
screwdriver (not supplied), and pull out the bulb
unit.
5
Install the new bulb unit and secure it with the
screw.
