Install the Module

• calculating the chassis power requirement
• choosing the module’s location in the 1771 chassis
• keying a chassis slot for your module
• wiring the input module’s field wiring arm
• installing the input module

IMPORTANT
This module is a modular component of the 1771 I/O system
requiring a properly installed system chassis. Refer to
publication
1771-IN075 for detailed information on acceptable
chassis along with proper installation and grounding
requirements. Limit the maximum adjacent slot power
dissipation to 10 W maximum.
