) Installing the Light

It is easiest to install and conceal the MicroSpot™ light(s) prior to putting the gravel in the

pond. Find a desirable location for the light(s). We suggest positioning the lights so they

are facing away from the main viewing area. Double-check to make sure that the cover

is fastened tightly down. The light is designed to be incorporated into the boulder wall by

“tucking” it in-between a set of boulders. The boulders can be adjusted around the light in

order to “lock” light into position. Simply take the cord and plug into transformer, plug in

transformer and enjoy!
MicroSpot™ 20 Watt light is designed to be used COMPLETELY submerged in water. Be

careful to not place light fixture in the “ice-zone” of the pond, this may cause cracked

lenses. We suggest placing the light fixture 8 inches or more below the surface of the water.

You can place the fixture in the “ice-zone” as long as you remove it before winter ad leave

outside the pond or in a position that it will not freeze in the pond. Replacement lenses are

available if needed.

3) replacing the Light Bulb

1. Make sure the transformer is unplugged before changing the bulb.

The light housing must be above water to properly service the light bulb.

2. Unscrew the plastic cap from the front of the light housing unit.
3. Remove the glass lens and o-ring from light housing.
4. Use a thin flat-head screwdriver to pry the light up and out of the housing.
Note: Removing the halogen light by pulling the bulb is not recommended.
5. Insert the new bulb by inserting the two metal plugs into the connector
Note: Do not touch the halogen light inside the assembly.
6. The o-ring and lens can now be installed back into place. Make sure there

is no dirt or debris on the lens, o-ring, and assembly prior to reassembling.

7. Attach the cap back onto the light housing.
8. Test to make sure light works
9. Position light back into pond.
