Lily Pad Light

The Floating Lily Pad Light provides a beautiful effect

in your pond, illuminating the surroundings under the

lily pad with a soft, warm glow. The Aquascape LVL

lighting system operates on low voltage and is safe

for use in water features. It is good practice whenever

working in or near water to have all electrical devices

plugged into a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI)

that has been installed by a licensed electrician.

The Lily Pad Light is designed for use with the Aquascape 60-watt, 150-watt and 300-watt

LVL transformers. The 60-watt transformer is capable of powering up to 6 lights, the 150-

watt transformer is capable of powering up to 15 lights, and the 300-watt transformer is

capable of powering up to 30 lights. The LVL lighting system operates on low voltage and is

safe for use in water features. It is good practice whenever working in or near water to have

all electrical devices plugged into a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) that has been

installed by a licensed electrician.

Instructions

installing the lights in the pond:

It is easiest to install and conceal the LVL light(s) cords

prior to putting the gravel in the pond. Find a desirable

location for the light(s). Please see Lily Pad Light

Placement diagram to the right for proper placement.

Lily pad light will float freely on the surface of the pond,

providing down lighting. The cord on the unit can be

anchored in place using a small boulder or similar

weighted object. The light cord should have enough

slack to run along the bottom of the pond. You can place

the cord behind any boulder on the vertical walls. Cover

the light cord with gravel on horizontal surfaces.

Troubleshooting

• Double check to see if all of the connections are still

intact and that there are no exposed wires. Ensure

that the wires are fully sealed with the wirenuts.

• The two copper wire stubs at the end of the cut light

cable must not be touching each other. Crossing

wires will cause the transformer to burn-out! Re-

cut if the wires are crossing or the original cut was

not precise.

• Bulb life can be greatly increased by setting timer

on the transformer so the light(s) only operate dur-

ing the desired viewing times. (ex. On at dusk, and

off at 1:00 a.m.)
