This product should be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces

the risk of electrical shock by providing an escape wire with an appropriate grounding plug.

1) Do not repair, or tamper with, this cord or plug.

2) Do not use extension cords.

3) Do not submerge transformer.

4) Do not connect two or more power supplies in parallel.

5) Do not use with a dimmer.

Fixture(s) must be installed in accordance with all local codes and ordinances! For use with

low voltage outdoor landscape lighting systems and LGPC submersible fixtures. Not for use

with pool/spa equipment.

Instructions

1) To connect low voltage cable, split one end of cable

approximately 2” and strip about 1/2” of insulation

off each wire (diagram 1). Insert wire under termi-

nal as shown (diagram 2). Tighten screw securely.

2) Hang transformer from a secure object such as

a post or the side of your home (diagram 3).

3) Plug transformer into a GFCI outdoor electrical

outlet that has a weather-resistant cover, do not

use extension cord.

4) Route low voltage cable to desired fixture locations.

Hook up fixtures to LVL cable.

cauTIOn: Fixture(s)

must be installed in accordance with all local codes

and ordinances. Turn power pack to “AUTO” and

cover photocell for 30-60 seconds to test. Hide or

bury cable as desired only AFTeR entire installation

is completed and lighting effect is achieved.

Troubleshooting

1) Make sure transformer is plugged in. Is outlet working?
2) Caution: If circuit breaker trips when the transformer is turned on – Unplug the transformer from

the AC outlet. Correct fault. Reset the circuit breaker and plug transformer back in.

3) Is lamp burned out? Use another lamp to test.
4) To maximize the life of the transformer and lights. The transformer should only be operated at 80%

of its total wattage (ie. 80% of 60 watts = 48 watts).

This lighting system is designed to last for many years under normal conditions. However, lamps

eventually burn out and losing one can shorten the life of the others. Conditions beyond control

(high input voltage, poor voltage regulation, etc.) will also affect lamp life. It is, therefore,

important to replace a burned out lamp promptly.
