Symptom Cause or corrective action
The Reader cannot
be turned on.
 Moisture condensation may have
occurred. Wait for a few hours and
then turn on the Reader.
 If the battery has been fully depleted,
connect to your computer via USB
and charge the battery. ( page 9 )
 If the battery has been fully depleted,
it takes approximately 5 minutes until
is displayed, during which time
you will not be able to turn on the
Reader by the POWER switch. In
this case, wait until is displayed.
The charge indicator lights up in red
while is not displayed, while the
Reader is charging.
