Advanced Recording
● REC MODE
✤ The REC MODE function works in both CAMERA and PLAYER
modes.
✤ This camcorder records and plays back in SP (standard play)
mode and in LP (long play) mode.
■ SP (standard play): This mode permits 60 minutes of recording
time with a DVM60 tape.
■ LP (long play): This mode permits 90 minutes of recording time
with a DVM60 tape.
1. Set the camcorder to CAMERA and
PLAYER mode.
2. Press the MENU ON/OFF button.
■ The menu list will appear.
3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight REC
MODE.
4. To select the REC MODE, press the ENTER button.
■ The REC MODE switches between SP and LP with each press.
5. To exit, press the MENU ON/OFF button.
Reference
■ We recommend that you use this camcorder to play back any tape
recorded on this camcorder.
Playing back a tape recorded in other equipment may produce
mosaic shaped noise.
■ When you record in SP and LP modes on one tape or you record
some scenes in LP mode, the playback picture may be distorted or
the time code may not be written properly between scenes.
■ Record using SP mode for best picture and sound quality.

✤ Cette fonction est disponible en mode caméscope et magnétoscope.
✤ Ce caméscope peut enregistrer et lire des cassettes en mode
SP (standard) et LP (longue durée).
■ SP (standard) : permet 60 minutes d’enregistrement sur une
bande DVM60.
■ LP (longue durée) : le mode LP permet 90 minutes d’enreg-
istrement sur une bande DVM60.
1. Réglez le caméscope sur CAMERA ou
PLAYER.
2. Appuyez sur la touche MENU ON/OFF.
■ Le menu des fonctions apparaît.
3. A l’aide de la molette MENU, accédez à la
fonction REC MODE.
4. Pour sélectionnez la fonction, appuyez sur la touche ENTER.
■ Le sous-menu de REC MODE affiche soit SP soit LP.
5. Pour sortir, appuyez sur la touche MENU ON/OFF.
Important
■ Nous vous recommandons d’utiliser ce caméscope pour lire les
cassettes que vous avez enregistrées.
Si vous utilisez ces cassettes sur un autre appareil, la qualité de l’im-
age risque d’être altérée.
■ Lorsque vous utilisez à la fois les modes SP et LP sur une même
bande, l’image lue risque d’être déformée ou l’horodatage peut être
incorrect.
■ Pour conserver une bonne qualité sonore et visuelle, il conseillé d’u-
tiliser le mode d’enregistrement standard “SP”.
