● DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer)
✤ The DIS function works in CAMERA mode only.
✤ DIS(Digital Image Stabilizer) is a handshake compensation
function that compensates for any shaking or moving of the
hand holding the camcorder (within reasonable limits).
✤ It provides more stable pictures when:
■ Recording with the Zoom
■ Recording a small object close-up
■ Recording and walking at the same time
■ Recording through the window of a vehicle
1. Set the camcorder to CAMERA mode.
2. Press the MENU ON/OFF button.
■ The menu list will appear.
3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight DIS.
4. To activate the DIS function, press the
ENTER button.
■ The DIS menu is changed to ON.
■ If you do not want to use the DIS function,
set the DIS menu to OFF.
5. To exit, press the MENU ON/OFF button.
Reference
■ It is recommended that you deactivate the handshake
compensation function when using a tripod.
■ The DIS function will not operate in the low SHUTTER
1/8, 1/15, 1/30 mode.
■ If you set the DIS function to ON in GHOST mode, the GHOST
mode will be switched off.
■ If you use the DIS function, the picture quality may deteriorate.

● Stabilisateur d’image numérique (DIS)
✤ L’option DIS fonctionne uniquement en mode caméscope
(CAMERA).
✤ Elle compense, jusqu’à un certain point, le léger tremblement qui
peut survenir en filmant.
✤ Cette fonction permet d’obtenir des images plus stables dans les sit-
uations suivantes :
■ lorsque vous filmez en mode zoom,
■ lorsque vous filmez un petit objet en plan serré,
■ lorsque vous filmez et marchez en même temps,
■ lorsque vous filmez à travers la vitre d’un véhicule.
1. Réglez le caméscope sur CAMERA.
2. Appuyez sur la touche MENU ON/OFF.
■ Le menu des fonctions s’affiche.
3. A l’aide de la molette MENU, sélectionnez
le mode DIS.
4. Pour activer la fonction DIS, appuyez sur
la touche ENTER.
■ L’option DIS est activée lorsqu’elle est sur ON.
■ Si vous ne souhaitez pas utiliser la fonction DIS, réglez-la sur OFF.
5. Pour quitter le mode menu, appuyez sur la touche MENU ON/OFF.
Important
■ Nous vous recommandons de désactiver le stabilisateur d’image
lorsque vous filmez avec un trépied.
■ La fonction DIS ne fonctionne pas avec les valeurs suivantes du mode
SHUTTER : 1/8, 1/15, 1/30.
■ Si vous activez la fonction DIS en mode GHOST, celui-ci est automa-
tiquement désactivé.
■ La fonction DIS peut altérer la qualité de l’image.
