DVD Camcorder: Connection
Copying a DISC on to a video tape
 The copying function works only in Player Mode. page 28
 Connect your DVD Camcorder to a VCR using the AV/S jack to dub
the recording from a disc onto a VCR tape.
1. Set the [Mode] switch to
[DISC].
2. Set the [Power] switch to
[ (Player)].
3. Insert the disc you want to
copy in your DVD Camcorder.
4. Insert a new tape in your
VCR.
5. Connect the DVD Camcorder
to your VCR with Multi-AV
cable.
 Connect the Multi-AV cable to the input jack on your VCR.
 The yellow jack: Video
 The white jack: Audio(L)-mono
 The red jack: Audio(R)
6. Press the Record button on your VCR to start recording.
7. Play the disc on your DVD Camcorder. Please refer to page 64 for
Playing.
 Press the [DISPLAY] button so as not to display OSD.
When Copying is Complete:
Stop recording on your VCR, then press the [(Stop)] button on your
DVD Camcorder.
Note
You can also copy moving images onto another disc or HDD by
connecting to a DVD Recorder.

Copie d’un disque sur une cassette
 La fonction Copie ne peut être activée qu’en Player Mode. page 28
 Reliez le DVD caméscope à un magnétoscope en utilisant la prise AV/S
pour reproduire l’enregistrement d’un disque sur une cassette vidéo.
1. Placez l’interrupteur [Mode]
sur [DISC].
2. Placez l’interrupteur [Power]
sur [ (Player)].
3. Insérez le disque que vous
souhaitez copier dans le
DVD caméscope.
4. Insérez une cassette vierge
dans le magnétoscope.
5. Reliez le DVD caméscope
au magnétoscope à l’aide du
câble Multi-AV.
 Reliez le câble Multi-AV à la prise d’entrée du magnétoscope.
 Prise jaune: vidéo;
 Prise blanche: audio (G) - mono
 Prise rouge: audio (D)
6. Appuyez sur le bouton Enregistrement du magnétoscope pour
démarrer l’enregistrement.
7. Lisez le disque sur le DVD caméscope. Reportez vous à la page 64
– Lecture.
 Appuyez sur la touche [DISPLAY] pour prévenir l’affichage de
l’écran.
Une fois la copie terminée:
Arrêtez l’enregistrement sur votre magnétoscope, puis appuyez sur le
bouton [(Stop)] du DVD caméscope.
