DVD Camcorder: Connection
Connecting to a TV which has no Audio/Video Input Jacks
 You can connect your DVD Camcorder to a TV through a VCR.
1. Connect the DVD Camcorder
to your VCR with the Multi-
AV cable.
 The yellow jack: Video
 The white jack: Audio(L) -
Mono
 The red jack: Audio(R)
2. Connect a TV to the VCR.
3. Set the
[Mode] switch to
[DISC].
4. Set the [Power] switch to
[ (Player)].
5. Turn on both the TV and
VCR.
 Set the input selector on the VCR to Line.
 Select the channel reserved for your VCR on the TV set.

Notes
 If the VCR has an S-Video input terminal, you may use the S-Video
connector for better quality.
 Even if you use an S-Video connector, you need to connect an
audio cable.
 If only a mono audio input is available on the VCR set, use the
audio cable with the white jack (Audio L).
DVD Caméscope: Raccordement
Connexion à un téléviseur sans entrée A/V
 Vous pouvez connecter votre DVD caméscope à un téléviseur par
le biais d’un magnétoscope.
1. Reliez le DVD caméscope
au magnétoscope à l’aide
du câble Multi-AV.
 Prise jaune: vidéo;
 Prise blanche: audio (G)
- mono
 Prise rouge: audio (D)
2. Raccordez un téléviseur au
magnétoscope.
3. Placez l’interrupteur [Mode]
sur [DISC].
4. Placez l’interrupteur
[Power] sur [ (Player)].
5. Allumez le téléviseur et le
magnétoscope.
 Réglez le sélecteur d’entrée du magnétoscope sur Ligne.
 Sélectionnez la chaîne réservée aux magnétoscopes sur le
téléviseur.
6. Lisez le disque. page 64
Remarques
 Si le magnétoscope possède une prise d’entrée S-Vidéo, vous
obtiendrez une meilleure qualité en utilisant un connecteur S-Vidéo.
 Même si vous utilisez une prise S-Vidéo, vous devez employer un
câble audio en parallèle.
 Si seule l’entrée audio mono est disponible sur votre
magnétoscope, utilisez la prise blanche du câble audio (audio G).
