Troubleshooting
 If these instructions do not solve your problem, contact your
nearest Samsung authorized service center.
Symptom Explanation/Solution
You cannot switch the
DVD Camcorder on.
 Check the Battery Pack or the AC Power
adapter.
The DVD Camcorder
shuts off automatically.
 You have left the DVD Camcorder set to
STBY for more than 5 minutes without
using it. To turn on the DVD Camcorder,
press the [Start/Stop] button.
 The Battery Pack is fully exhausted. Replace it
with a fully charged battery pack.
Charge runs out
quickly.
 The atmospheric temperature is too low.
 The Battery Pack has not been charged fully.
 The Battery Pack is completely dead, and
cannot be recharged, use another Battery Pack.
A vertical strip appears
on the screen when
recording a dark
background.
 The contrast between the subject and
the background is too great for the DVD
Camcorder to operate normally. Make the
background bright to reduce the contrast
or use the BLC function while you are
recording in bright Surroundings.
The image in the
Viewfinder is blurred.
 The Viewfinder lens has not been adjusted.
 Adjust the Viewfinder control lever until
the indicators displayed on the Viewfinder
come into sharp focus.
Auto focus does not
work.
 Check the Manual Focus menu.
 Auto focus does not work in the Manual
Focus mode.
When the power is
turned off and then
turned on, a blue
screen appears instead
of the normal screen.
 If the DC Adapter is connected, remove
the cord, turn on the Power switch, and
then connect it again. If the battery is
connected, disconnect it, turn the Power
switch to on, and then connect it again.

pas allumer le DVD

 Vérifiez le bloc-piles ou l’adaptateur CA.
Le DVD
caméscope s’éteint
automatiquement.
 Vous avez laissé le DVD caméscope réglé
sur STBY pendant plus de 5 minutes sans
l’utiliser. Appuyez sur la touche [Start/Stop]
pour mettre le DVD caméscope sous tension.
 Le bloc-piles est à plat. Remplacer par un
bloc-piles à pleine charge.
La charge se
dépense rapidement.
 La température atmosphérique est trop basse.
 Le bloc-piles n’est pas suffisamment chargé.
 Le bloc-piles est complètement à plat et
ne peut être rechargé ; utilisez un autre
bloc-piles.
Une bande verticale
apparaît à l’écran si
vous enregistrez un
arrière plan sombre.
 Le contraste entre le sujet et l’arrière-
plan est trop important pour que le
DVD caméscope puisse fonctionner
normalement. Illuminez l’arrière-plan pour
réduire le contraste ou utilisez la fonction
BLC (Compensation du contre-jour) si
vous enregistrez dans un environnement
fortement illuminé.
L’image du viseur est
floue.
 L’objectif du viseur est mal réglé.
 Ajustez le contrôle du viseur jusqu’à ce que
les témoins affichés sur le viseur soient nets.
La mise au point
automatique ne
fonctionne pas.
 Vérifiez le menu de la mise au point manuelle.
 La mise au point automatique ne fonctionne
pas en mode de mise au point manuelle.
Lorsque mis hors
tension et ensuite
sous tension, un écran
bleu s’affiche plutôt
que l’écran normal
 Si l’adaptateur CA est branché, enlevez le
cordon électrique, mettez le sous tension et
rebranchez. Si le bloc-piles est inséré, retirez-
le, mettez l’appareil sous tension et réinsérez.
