Cutting Off Wind Noise (Wind Cut)
 The Wind Cut function works only in Camera Mode. page 28
 Use the Wind Cut when recording in windy places such as the
beach or near buildings.
 The Wind Cut function minimizes wind noise or other noise while
recording.
- When the Wind Cut is on, some low pitched tones are
eliminated along with the sound of the wind.
1. Set the [Mode] switch to [DISC].
2. Set the [Power] switch to [ (Camera)].
3. Press the [MENU] button.
4. Move the [Joystick] up or down to select
<Record>, then press the [Joystick(OK)].
5. Move the [Joystick] up or down to select
<Wind Cut>, then press the [Joystick(OK)].
6. To activate the Wind Cut function, move the
[Joystick] up or down to select <On>,
then press the [Joystick(OK)].
7. To exit, press the [MENU] button.
 Wind Cut icon ( ) is displayed.
Note
Make sure Wind Cut is set to Off when you want
the microphone to be as sensitive as possible.

 Utilisez la fonction Wind Cut lorsque vous enregistrez dans
des endroits exposés au vent (plage, par exemple) ou près de
bâtiments.
 La fonction Coupe Vent diminue le bruit du vent ou d’autres bruits
pendant l’enregistrement.
- Lorsque la fonction Coupe Vent est activée,
certains bruits très faibles sont éliminés en
même temps que le bruit du vent.
1. Placez l’interrupteur [Mode] sur [DISC].
2. Placez l’interrupteur [Power] sur
[ (Camera)].
3. Appuyez sur la touche [MENU].
4. Déplacez le [Joystick] vers le haut ou vers
le bas pour sélectionner <Record> puis
appuyez sur [Joystick(OK)].
5. Déplacez le [Joystick] vers le haut ou vers
le bas pour sélectionner <Wind Cut> puis
appuyez sur [Joystick(OK)].
6. Déplacez le [Joystick] vers le haut ou vers le
bas pour sélectionner <On> puis appuyez sur
[Joystick(OK)].
7. Pour quitter, appuyez sur la touche [MENU].
 L’icône Coupe Vent ( ) s’affiche.
Remarque
Assurez-vous que la fonction Wind Cut est Off
lorsque vous souhaitez que le microphone soit le
plus sensible possible.
