GB Assembly and installation
Electric connection
After unpacking the instrument, place the unit on a laboratory bench .
Before connecting the instrument to the electricity source, make sure that the values on the
rating plate correspond to those of the source .
Use the supplied external power to connect the instrument to the socket .
The supplied external power allow to connect the instrument to net power lines between
100 and 240 Volt with 50 or 60 Hz .
Start-up
After connecting the instrument to the electric source, place the sample containing beakers
on the instrument, with the stirring rod facing inside .
Do not turn the instrument on before positioning the beakers (thus protecting the blades) .
In order to place the beakers it is necessary to pull the stirring rods up, just sufficiently, by
holding them by the black pommels on the top of the instrument; to place the beakers
(one for each stirring rod) and to pull down the rods .
Ensure that the power switch is turned to “0” (OFF) before removing the beakers
containing the liquid .
Select the the desidered modality of running (continuous, with minutes base or with hours
base) with the keys of the electronic power window on the control pannel .
Select the desired speed by the keys of stirrer speed window .
