Turn on the computer.

Connect the AC power cord to the supplied AC adapter, plug
the AC power cord into an AC outlet, and then plug the cable
of the adapter into the DC IN connector on the drive.
The green POWER indicator of the drive lights up.

Connect the supplied i.LINK cable to the i.LINK connector on
the rear of the drive.

Connect the other end of the supplied i.LINK cable to the
i.LINK connector on the computer.
The drive is detected and identified by the computer.

When this drive is connected to your computer for the first time, it takes a moment
for the computer to detect the drive.
