ASSEMBLAGE :
1. Choisir le bon endroit pour accrocher votre kayak. Le mur ne doit
avoir aucun obstacle. Ceci comprend : prises électriques, fenêtres,
systèmes d’ouverture de porte de garage, etc. S’assurer que vous
laissez beaucoup d’espace autour du kayak pour le suspendre
facilement et le décrocher pour l’utiliser.
2. Déterminer l’endroit où monter les crochets de support. Les boulons
à œil doivent être fixés dans les montants du mur ou les poutres du
plafond (si dans une solive de plancher au sous-sol). L’espace désiré
entre les crochets est environ 1/3 de la longueur totale du kayak que
vous accrochez. Ceci veut dire que si vous avez un kayak de 12 pieds,
les boulons à œil seraient placés à environ 4 pieds l’un de l’autre
3. S’assurer que les emplacements des boulons à œil sont assez élevés
du plancher pour pouvoir accrocher le kayak avec suffisamment
d’espace libre autour. AVERTISSEMENT : Avant d’installer les
boulons à œil, vérifier que vous n’allez pas percer dans des câbles
électriques derrière le panneau mural ou le plafond. Le non-respect

4. À l’aide d’un crayon, marquer les emplacements des
boulons à œil, et à l’aide de la perceuse et de la bonne mèche,
percer l’avant-trou pour chaque boulon à œil. Ceci facilitera
l’installation du boulon à œil dans les montants et réduira la
possibilité de fendre les montants.
5. Installer les boulons à œil en commençant à visser chaque
boulon à la main dans les avant-trous, puis à l’aide du tournevis
inséré à travers l’œil du boulon à œil, serrer le boulon à œil dans
le montant.
6. Insérer le crochet en S de chaque crochet dans l’œil des
boulons à œil.
7. Pour bien accrocher le kayak, faire passer le crochet à
ressort et les sangles derrière le kayak, puis en haut à l’avant
(autour) du kayak et insérer le crochet à ressort dans la la boucle
et verrouiller en place. Répéter avec l’autre crochet. Ajuster le
kayak afin qu’il soit suspendu uniformément entre les sangles et
redresser au besoin.
Remarque : Kayak vides avant de raccrocher
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

NOTE: The eye bolts used must be a least 1/4in diameter
shank and have a thread engagement of at least 1-1/2in
TOOLS FOR ASSEMBLY:
• Electric drill (or hand drill)
• Drill bit (size depending on the size of the eye bolts used)
• Screwdriver
WARNING:

manufacturers’ owners manuals thoroughly. Failure to do so

Not to exceed maximum load of 100 lbs
ASSEMBLY:
1. Choose the right location for hanging your kayak. The wall
should be clear of obstacles. This includes: electrical outlets,
windows, garage door opening systems, etc. Make sure that
you leave plenty of room around the kayak to easily suspend
and get your kayak down for use.
2. Determine the mounting location for the hangers. The eye
bolts must be located and secured into wall studs or ceiling
rafters (if in a basement floor joist). The desired spacing of the
hangers will be approximately 1/3 the total length of the kayak
you are hanging. This means that if you have a 12 foot kayak,
the eyes bolts would be placed approximately 4 feet apart
3. Ensure that the locations of the eye bolts are high enough
off the floor so that the kayak has enough clearance to hang
properly.
WARNING:
Prior to installing eye bolts, verify that you
will not be drilling into electrical wiring behind the wall board
or ceiling panels. Failure to do so can lead to death and/or
personal injury and property damage.
4. Using a pencil, mark the locations for
the eye bolts and, using the drill
and proper drill bit, drill the pilot
holes for each eye bolt. This will
make it easier to install the eye bolt
into the studs and reduce the possibility
of splitting the studs.
5. Install the eye bolts by starting each bolt
by hand into the pilot holes and then,
using the screwdriver inserted into and
through the eye of the eye bolt, tighten
the eye bolt into the stud.
6. Insert the S-Hook of each hanger into the
eye of the eye bolts.
7. To properly suspend the kayak, run the
snap hook and webbing behind the kayak
and then up in front (around) of the kayak
and insert the snap hook into the buckle
and lock into place, Repeat with the other
hanger. Adjust the kayak so it is suspended
equally between the straps and make any
adjustments necessary.
Note: Empty Kayak before hanging
