3-PRONG GROUNDED TYPE PLUG
This appliance is equipped with a grounded type 3-wire cord (3-prong plug).
This plug will only fit into an electrical outlet made for a 3-prong plug. This is a
safety feature. If the plug should fail to fit the outlet, contact an electrician to
replace the obsolete outlet. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the
Grounding Pin part of the 3-prong plug.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and
may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If a longer detachable power-supply or extension cord is used, (1) the marked
electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great
as the electrical rating of the appliance, and (2) the cord should be arranged
so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled
on by children or tripped over accidentally.
The extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may
not operate. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit.
PLASTICIZER WARNING
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers to migrate from the finish of the counter
top or table top or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or placemats
between the appliance and the finish of the counter top or table top.
Failure to do so may cause the finish to darken, permanent blemishes may
occur or stains can appear.

PROGRAMMABLE ELECTRIC PRESSURE COOKER
Congratulations on your purchase of the Nutritionist ® Programmable Electric
Pressure Cooker featuring a Removable Cooking Pot with a non-stick interior
finish. The special coating on the Removable Cooking Pot has been designed
to add durability and ease of use and cleaning. It has been specially formulat-
ed for selected premium performance appliances.
The interior finish offers increased scratch and abrasion protection, while still
maintaining the convenience of non-stick cooking and easy cleaning. It is
great for the health conscious, allowing you to cook without fats or oils.
Care and cleaning of your Programmable Electric Pressure Cooker is a snap.
Washing or rinsing with warm, soapy water and a sponge or a cloth is all that
is needed. Do not use steel wool, course scouring pads or harsh abrasives on
any non-stick surface. Not only are they unnecessary, but they may damage
the coating.
PRISE À 3 FICHES AVEC MISE À LA TERRE
Cet appareil est muni d’un cor don électrique avec mise à la terre
(3 conducteurs) et d’une prise à 3 fiches. Par mesure de sécurité, l’appar eil
ne peut être branché que dans une prise murale compatible à 3 conducteurs.
Si la prise murale n’est pas compatible, faire appel à un électricien
professionnel pour la r emplacer . Ne jamais neutraliser ce dispositif de sécurité
en supprimant la fiche de mise à la terre, par exemple.
CORDON ÉLECTRIQUE
Le cordon électrique de cet appar eil est court afin de réduire les risques
d’enchevêtrement et d’accidents.
Si nécessaire, il est possible d’utiliser un cor don de rallonge, à condition de
respecter les précautions suivantes :
1. Assurez-vous que les caractéristiques électriques du cor don de rallonge
soient égales ou supérieures à celles de l’appar eil.
2. Ne laissez pas le cordon de rallonge pendr e sur le bord d’un comptoir ou
d’une table, afin d’éviter qu’un enfant ne le tire volontair ement ou que
quelqu’un s’y accroche accidentellement.
Le cordon de rallonge doit êtr e du type à 3 conducteurs avec mise à la terre.
ALIMENTA TION ÉLECTRIQUE
Si le circuit électrique est sur chargé par d’autres appar eils, il est possible que
votre autocuiseur ne fonctionne pas normalement. Dans ce cas, celui-ci doit
être branché sur un cir cuit indépendant.
AVER TISSEMENT SUR LES PRODUITS PLASTIFIANTS
ATTENTION :Pour éviter la migration des pr oduits plastifiants de la surface
de votre comptoir ou de votr e table, placez sous l’appar eil des dessous de
plats ou des napperons NE CONTENANT PAS DE MATIÈRE PLASTIQUE.
Sans cette précaution, la surface du comptoir ou du meuble pourrait
s’assombrir, se ternir ou s’endommager.
