1) TURN OFF POWER.

IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work

without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.

a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home.

Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.

b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker

switch(s), that control the power to the fixture or room that

you are working on.

c) Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position. If the fixture to

be replaced has a switch or pull chain, place those in the

“OFF”

position.

2) Slip fixture over post and mark position of mounting holes in
post.
3) Remove fixture from post.
4) Drill 3/16” dia holes in post at positions marked .
5) If fixture is provided with ground wire, connect fixture ground

wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector. (Not

provided). Never connect ground wire to black or white power

supply wires.

6) Make wire connections (connectors not provided). Reference

chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly.

7) Slip fixture over post and secure in place using provided

screws. Screws should slip into holes drilled in post.

8) Thread short end with hexnut of long threaded pipe into

coupling in center of socket cluster.

9) Insert recommended bulb.
10) Lower glass down and pass hole in bottom of glass over end

of long threaded pipe. Pass hole in bottom of glass over

socket cluster. Carefully place glass into bottom of cage.

11) Pass hole in rubber washer over end of threaded pipe

protruding from top of glass. Pass hole in flat washer over end

of threaded pipe. Screw hexnut onto end of threaded pipe.

(DO NOT over tighten.)

12) Lower top of cage down. Pass hole in top of cage over end of

threaded pipe protruding from top of glass.

13) Pass hole in cap over end of threaded pipe protruding from

top of cage. Set cap on top of cage.

14) Thread small washer onto end of threaded pipe protruding

from cap. Tighten washer up against cap.

15) Thread hex coupling onto end of threaded pipe protruding

from cap.

16) Lower first top trim down. Set top trim down on

top of fixture. Pass hole in top trim over coupling on top of

fixture.

17) Screw end of short threaded pipe with hexnut into coupling in

center of first top trim piece.

18) Pass hole in scalloped trim piece over end of threaded pipe

protruding from first top trim piece. Set scallped trim piece

down on top of first trim piece.

19) Pass hole in third trim piece over end of threaded pipe

protruding from top of scalloped trim. Set that trim piece down

on top of scalloped trim.

20) Thread finial onto end of threaded pipe protruding from last

trim piece. (DO NOT over tighten.)
