1) Pass threaded pipe on end of small loop up through hole in
canopy.
2) Thread lockwasher onto end of threaded pipe protruding

from inside canopy.

3) Thread hexnut onto end of threaded pipe protruding from

inside canopy. Tighten hexnut to secure small loop to canopy.

4) Pass fixture wire from coupling on top of fixture body through

stem and screw stem into coupling on top of fixture body.

5) Pass fixture wire through large loop. Thread large loop onto

end of stem.

6) Attach one end of chain to large loop on end of stem. Attach

other end of chain to small loop on canopy.

7) Weave fixture wires through chain links no more than 3

inches apart.

8) Pass fixture wires through hole in small loop on canopy and

up through hole in canopy.

9) TURN OFF POWER.

IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work

without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.

a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your

home. Place the main power switch in the “OFF”

position.

b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker

switch(s), that control the power to the fixture or room

that you are working on.

c) Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position. If the fixture

to be replaced has a switch or pull chain, place those in

the “OFF” position.

10) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap.

Assemble mounting screws into threaded holes.

11) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided).

Mounting strap can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.

12) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.) Reference

chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly.

13) Push fixture to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws

through holes in canopy.

14) Thread knurl knobs onto mounting screws. Tighten knurl

knobs to secure fixture to ceiling.

15) Raise glass up to fixture. Pass hole in glass over socket.
16) Thread socket ring onto socket. Tighten socket ring to

secure glass in place. (DO NOT over tighten.)

1) Passer le tube fileté sur l’extrémité de la petite boucle par le

trou situé dans le cache.

2) Visser une rondelle de blocage sur l’extrémité du tube fileté

sortant du cache.

3) Visser l’écrou hexagonal sur l’extrémité du tube fileté

sortant du cache. Serrer l’écrou hexagonal pour fixer la

petite boucle sur le cache.

4) Passer le fil du luminaire depuis l’accouplement situé sur la

partie supérieure du luminaire par la tige.

5) Passer le fil du luminaire par la grande boucle. Visser la

grande boucle à l’extrémité de la tige.

6) Fixer une extrémité de la chaîne de la grande boucle à

l’extrémité de la tige. Fixer l’autre extrémité de la chaîne à la

petite boucle sur le cache.

7) Passer les fils du luminaire par des maillons de la chaîne à

un intervalle de 7,5 cm entre.

8) Passer les fils du luminaire par le trou situé dans la petite

boucle sur le cache puis par le trou dans le cache.

9) COUPER LE COURANT.

IMPORTANT: TOUJOURS couper l’électricité avant de

commencer le travail.

a) Localiser le coffret à fusibles ou le disjoncteur du

domicile. Mettre l’interrupteur principal en position

d’Arrêt.

b) Dévisser le ou les fusibles (ou mettre le disjoncteur sur

Arrêt) qui contrôlent l’alimentation vers le luminaire ou la

pièce dans laquelle le travail est effectué.
