1) Lower bottom end of arm down into ring. Align hole in
bracket on bottom end of arm with hole on inside of ring.
2) Thread screw down through hole in bracket at end of arm
and into hole on inside of ring.
3) Pass threaded pipe at top of arm through hole in cup.
4) Slip lockwasher over end of threaded pipe protruding from
inside of cup.
5) Screw hexnut onto end of threaded pipe protruding from
inside of cup.
6) Repeat steps 1-5 for remaining arms.
7) Tighten hexnuts and screws from steps 1-6.
8) Lower metal strap down into cup. Pass threaded pipe on
bottom of metal strap through hole in cup.
9) Slip lockwasher over end of threaded pipe protruding out of
cup. Thread finial onto threaded pipe. Tighten finial to
secure metal strap in place.
10) TURN OFF POWER.
IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work
without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your
home. Place the main power switch in the “OFF”
position.
b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker
switch(s), that control the power to the fixture or room
that you are working on.
c) Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position. If the fixture
to be replaced has a switch or pull chain, place those in
the “OFF” position.
11) Thread hexnut onto threaded pipe so that 5 threads are
exposed below hexnut. From underside of mounting strap,
thread long end of threaded pipe into hole in mounting strap
until hexnut touches mounting strap. Tighten hexnut against
mounting strap.
12) Thread second hexnut onto other end of threaded pipe.
Tighten hexnut up against mounting strap.
13) Connect fixture ground wire to outlet box ground wire with
wire connector. (Not provided.) Never connect ground wire
to black or white power supply wire.
14) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided)
15) Connect safety cable assembled to canopy to mounting
strap. (This will allow for fixture to be supported while wire
connections are made.)
16) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.)
Reference chart below for correct connections and wire
accordingly.
17) Push fixture to ceiling, carefully passing threaded pipe
through hole in canopy.
18) Thread finial onto end of threaded pipe. Tighten finial to
secure fixture to ceiling.
1) Abaisser l’extrémité inférieure du bras dans l’anneau.
Aligner le trou dans le support sur l’extrémité inférieure du
bras avec un trou à l’intérieur de l’anneau.
2) Serrer la vis dans le trou de la bride de l’extrémité du bras et
dans le trou situé à l’intérieur de l’anneau.
3) Passer le tube fileté en haut du bras par le trou dans la
coupelle.
4) Glisser la rondelle de blocage sur l’extrémité de tube fileté
sortant de l’intérieur de la coupelle.
5) Serrer l’écrou hexagonal sur l’extrémité de tube fileté sortant
de l’intérieur de la coupelle.
6) Répéter les étapes 1 à 5 pour les autres bras.
7) Serrer les écrous hexagonaux et les vis des étapes 1 à 6.
8) Abaisser la bande métallique dans la coupelle. Faire passer
le tube fileté sur la partie inférieure de la bande métallique à
travers le trou dans la coupelle.
9) Glissez la rondelle de blocage sur l’extrémité du tube fileté
sortant de la tasse. Vissez l’ornement sur le tube fileté.
Serrer l’ornement de garantir la bande métallique en place.
10) COUPER L’ALIMENTATION SECTEUR.
IMPORTANT:
TOUJOURS couper l’électricité avant de
commencer le travail.
a) Localiser le coffret à fusibles ou le disjoncteur du
domicile. Mettre l’interrupteur principal en position
d’Arrêt.

b) Dévisser le ou les fusibles (ou mettre le disjoncteur sur
Arrêt) qui contrôlent l’alimentation vers le luminaire ou la
pièce dans laquelle le travail est effectué.
c) Mettre l’interrupteur mural en position d’Arrêt. Si le luminaire
à remplacer est doté d’un interrupteur ou d’une chaîne
connectée à l‘interrupteur, placer ces éléments en
position d’Arrêt.
11) Serrer l’écrou hexagonal sur le tube fileté de sorte que 5
filets soient exposés en dessous de l’écrou hexagonal.
Depuis le dessous de la bride de montage, passer
l’extrémité longue du tube fileté dans le trou de la sangle de
montage jusqu’à ce que l’écrou hexagonal soit en contact
avec la bride de montage. *Resserrer l’écrou hexagonal
contre la bride de montage.
12) Serrer le deuxième écrou hexagonal sur l’autre extrémité du
tube fileté. Serrer l’écrou hexagonal contre la bride de
montage.
13) Avec l’attache-fil (qui n’est pas fourni), connecter le fil de
mise á la terre au fil d’alimentation noir ou á celui qui est
blanc.
14) Fixer la bride de montage sur la boîte à prises. (Vis non
fournies).
15) Connecter le câble de sécurité assemblé à l’intérieur du
cache sur le support de montage.(Ceci permettra de
soutenir le luminaire lors du branchement des fils.)
16) Connecter les fils (connecteurs non fournis). Se reporter au
tableau ci-dessous pour faire les connexions.
17) Rapprocher le luminaire du plafond en passant soigneusement
le tube fileté par le trou dans le cache.
18) Vissez l’ornement sur l’extrémité du tube fileté. Serrer
l’ornement de sécuriser le luminaire au plafond.
