Getting Started Playing an MD
You can operate the player on either a rechargeable battery or a dry
battery. Before using the supplied rechargeable battery for the first
time, charge it. You can also operate the player on house current (see
"Power sources").
Charge the rechargeable battery.
Install the supplied rechargeable battery NC-6VVM to the
supplied battery charger with correct polarity, and cormect to a
wall outlet.
Full charging takes 150
minutes.

Insert a rechargeable battery.

Q Insert an MD.
The player automatically switches to play the stereo or monaural
sound according to the recorded sound.
Play an MD.
® Press ► (turn the control to
►•►W on the remote control).
The player starts to play the first track.
If you use the remote control, a short
beep soxmds in the headphones.

adjust the volume.
You can check the
volume in the display
of the remote control.

Do not slide OPEN during playback. If y'
do, the lid opens and playback will stop.
When using optional headphones
Use the headphones that have slereo-
miniplug. You cannot use other types of
headphones fmicroplug).
When Using the headphones
Wear the "L" marked side to the left ear
and the "R" marked side to the right ear.
