• Cet appareil est doté d'une fiche
polarisée (dont une lame est plus
large que l'autre). Cette fiche est
conçue pour être engagée dans une
prise polarisée, et ce d'une seule façon.
Inverser la fiche si on ne peut l'engager
à fond dans la prise. Si on ne peut
toujours pas l'engager, communiquer
avec un électricien qualifié pour faire
installer la prise qui convient. Ne
jamais modifier la fiche.

• This appliance has a polarized
plug(one blade is wider than the
other). This plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician to install the proper outlet.
Do not change the plug in any way.

g) La poignée de transport fournie pour votre
commodité peut être montée de deux
façons, comme sur l’illustration (figure 3).
Montage du boyau
extensible
Le boyau extensible de l’aspirateur vertical
se monte simplement sur ce dernier de la
façon suivante :
a) Locate the extendable hose(17) inside the
carton.
b) Close the cleaner bag compartment
lid(11). Insert the extendable hose(17) into
the accessory hose port(10) (figure 4).
c) Grasp the hose handle(16) and insert the
extendable wand(14) into the wand guide
(figure 5).
d) Make sure the wand release button faces
toward the front of the cleaner. Push all the
way down ensuring wand engages wand
lockout switch. NOTE: Lower power nozzle
will not run until wand completely engages
wand lockout switch (figure 6).
e) Place extendable hose(17) over hose/tool
holder when hose is not in use (figure 5).
f) Tighten the mounting screw securely using
a screwdriver. NOTE: The handle must be
properly inserted into the receptacle for the
screw to engage the nut plate.
g) For your convenience, the carry handle
may be mounted either way as shown
(figure 3).
Hose Assembly
The extendable hose of your new Upright can
easily be attached to your cleaner as follows:
a) Locate the extendable hose(17) inside the
carton.
b) Close the cleaner bag compartment
lid(11). Insert the extendable hose(17) into
the accessory hose port(10) (figure 4).
c) Grasp the hose handle(16) and insert the
extendable wand(14) into the wand guide
(figure 5).
d) Make sure the wand release button faces
toward the front of the cleaner. Push all the
way down ensuring wand engages wand
lockout switch. NOTE: Lower power nozzle

e) Place extendable hose(17) over hose/tool
