Using the Chain Tool
1. Adjust the chain to its loosest gear setting
(on smallest front and rear chainrings).
2. Position the Chain Tool over any rivet on the
chain (should fit snugly into chain links).
3. Screw the tool until the rivet is sufficiently
pushed through to disconnect the chain
(DO NOT push rivet completely out!).

Only open one
tool at a time
and close
before using
another tool.
