Using the rotary commander
RM-X6S (optional)
First, put a supplied lithium battery CR2032 in
the rotary commander.
For details, see “Replacing the lithium battery”
on page 59 and see “Notes on lithium battery” on
page 59, about how to install the lithium battery.

Attenuate sound.

Stop playback or radio reception.

VOL (Volume) control
Rotate to adjust the volume.
B SOURCE control
Press to change the source (CD, HDD,
MEMORY STICK, FM, AM or AUX).

Press to:
– tune in stations automatically
– skip tracks on the disc
Press and hold to:
– find a station manually
– fast-forward/reverse a track
D DISC +/– control
Press to:
– receive preset stations
– change the album

Change operation (radio band).

Infrared emitter
The rotary commander emits infrared rays in
the direction of the dial setting.

Infrared rays dial
Rotate the dial to change the direction of
infrared rays.
* If your car has no ACC (accessory) position on the
ignition key switch, be sure to press
(OFF) for
2 seconds to turn off the clock indication after tuning
off the ignition.
