Adjusting the LCD during PLAY
✤ You can adjust the LCD during playback.
✤ The adjustment method is the same procedure as used in
CAM mode. (see page 31)
The Speaker works in PLAYER mode only.
■ When you use the LCD screen for playback, you can
hear recorded sound from the built-in Speaker.

Follow the instructions below to decrease or
mute speaker volume in the PLAYER mode.
- Take the following steps to lower the volume or
mute the sound while playing a tape on the
camcorder.
1. Set the power switch to PLAYER mode.
2. Press
(PLAY/STILL) to play the tape.
3. When you hear sounds once the tape is in play,
use the MENU SELECTOR to adjust the volume.
■ A volume level display will appear on the LCD.
Levels may be adjusted from anywhere between
00 to 19 and you will not hear any sound when
the volume is set on 00.
■ If you close the LCD while playing, you will not
hear sound from the speaker.
Notes
■ When the cable is connected to the AV jack,
you cannot hear sound from the speaker and
cannot adjust the volume.
■ If a cable is connected to the AV jack,
you can hear sound from the speaker when
AV IN/OUT MODE on MENU is set to AV IN.
(SCD250/D270 only)
■ You can hear sound from speaker by removing the connected
cable from the AV jack.

Réglage de l’écran LCD lors de la lecture
✤ Vous pouvez régler l’écran LCD tout en visionnant des images.
✤ Le réglage se fait de la même manière qu’en mode caméscope
(CAM) (voir page 31).
Le haut-parleur fonctionne uniquement en mode
magnétoscope (position PLAYER).
■ Lorsque vous visionnez des images sur l’écran LCD,
le son est diffusé à partir du haut-parleur intégré.

Suivez les instructions ci-dessous pour diminuer ou
supprimer le son du haut-parleur en mode PLAYER.
- Si vous souhaitez diminuer ou supprimer le son du
haut-parleur lorsque vous lisez une bande sur votre
caméscope, procédez comme suit :
1. Réglez le commutateur sur PLAYER.
2. Appuyez sur la touche
(PLAY/STILL) pour lire la
bande.
3. Dès que la lecture commence, réglez le son du
haut-parleur désplacez le MENU SELECTOR.
■ Le volume s’affiche alors à l’écran.
Vous pouvez sélectionner le volume sur une
échelle allant de 00 à 19. Le son est coupé
lorsqu’il est réglé sur 00.
■ Si vous fermez l’écran LCD durant la lecture,
le haut-parleur est coupé.
Important
■ Lorsque le câble est connecté à la sortie AV, aucun son
ne sort du haut-parleur et vous ne pouvez pas régler le
volume.
■ Toutefois, même si le câble est connecté à la sortie AV, le haut-parleur
fonctionne lorsque le mode AV IN/OUT est réglé sur AV IN dans le
MENU (SCD250/D270 uniquement).
■ Lorsque vous débranchez le câble de la sortie AV, le haut-parleur est
activé.
