FORMATAGE D'UNE CARTE MÉMOIRE (FORMAT)
La fonction Format ne peut être activée qu'en
mode M.Player.

Vous pouvez utiliser les fonctions de formatage pour
supprimer toutes les images et toutes les options sur
la carte mémoire, y compris les images protégées.
La fonction Format ramène la carte mémoire à
son état initial.
1. Réglez l'interrupteur de sélection sur CARD.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton MODE pour sélectionner l e
mode Player ( ).
3. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
La liste des menus apparaît.
4. Déplacez le pavé ( ▲ / ▼) vers le haut ou le bas pour
sélectionner "Memory (Mémoire)", puis appuyez sur
le pavé.
5. Déplacez le pavé ( ▲ / ▼) vers le haut ou le bas pour
sélectionner "Format", puis appuyez sur le pavé.
Le message "All fi les will be deleted!
(Ts Fichiers Sont Suppr!)"
. "Do you want to
format? (Voulez vous formater?)" s'affi che.
6. Déplacez le pavé ( W / X) vers la gauche ou la droite pour
sélectionner "Yes" ou "No", puis appuyez sur le pavé.
"Complete! (Terminé!)" s'affi che une fois le
formatage terminé.
7. Pour sortir de la liste, appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
En utilisant la fonction Format, vous supprimez toutes les
photos et tous les fi lms défi nitivement. Il est ensuite impossible
de les récupérer.
Une carte mémoire formatée dans un autre appareil posera
des problèmes de lecture.
N’éteignez pas l'appareil pendant le formatage.
Il est impossible de formater une carte mémoire si la languette
de protection est verrouillée. ➥page 72
Ne formatez pas la carte mémoire sur un ordinateur. Le message
"Not formatted! (Non Formaté!)"
peut apparaître si la carte
mémoire que vous introduisez a été formatée sur un ordinateur.
Si vous exécutez la fonction Format, toutes les images
seront effacées et ne pourront plus être récupérées.

You can use the format functions to completely

The format function restores the memory card
to its initial state.
1. Set the Select switch to CARD.
2. Press the MODE button to set Player ( ).
3. Press the MENU button.
The menu list will appear.
4. Move the Joystick ( ▲ / ▼) up or down to select
"Memory", then press the Joystick.
5. Move the Joystick ( ▲ / ▼) up or down to select
"Format" , then press the Joystick.
A message "All fi les will be deleted! Do you
want to format?"
is displayed.
6. Move the Joystick ( W / X) left or right to select
"Yes" or "No", then press the Joystick.
"Complete!" is displayed when the format is
completed.
7. To exit, press the MENU button.
If you execute the format function, all photo images/moving
images will be erased completely and erased photo
images/moving images cannot be recovered.
Formatting the memory card using a different device will
cause memory card read errors.
Do not turn the power off in the middle of the formatting.
A memory card with the protection tab set to save will not
be formatted. ➥page 72
Do not format the memory card on a PC. "Not formatted!"
message may appear if a memory card formatted on a PC
is inserted.
If you execute the format function, all images will be erased
