Security
PIN Code Request
When the PIN Code Request
feature is turned on, you must
enter your PIN each time
you switch the phone on.
Consequently, any person who
does not have your PIN cannot
use your phone without your
approval.
Note: Before setting the PIN
Code Request feature off,
you must enter your PIN. The
default PIN is provided by
your service provider. If the
PIN is entered incorrectly 3
times, the SIM will be locked
and phone will not be usable.
Please contact your service
provider before using this
service.
Handset Lock
You can use a security code
to avoid unauthorized use of
the phone.
If you set the Handset Lock
to on, the phone will lock
whenever the fl ip is closed or
the phone is rebooted. The
correct Security Code must
be entered in order to unlock
the phone.
Note: The default Security
Code is 0000 and it can be
changed in ‘Change Codes’
menu.
Lock If SIM is Changed
If you set ON, your phone will
request a security code only
when you change your SIM
Card.
