Battery Charger Connections
A—Insulated Jumper Cable
B—Positive (Red) Clamp
C—Negative (Black) Clamp
2. To keep a safe distance from the battery, attach an
6-gauge (AWG) or heavier insulated jumper cable (A),
at least 61 cm (24 in.) long, to the Negative battery
terminal. (Jumper cable is not provided.)
3. Connect Positive (red) clamp (B) of battery charger to
Positive terminal of battery. Rock or twist clamp back
and forth to improve connection.
4. Holding free end of jumper cable, stand as far from
battery as possible. Face away from battery, and
connect Negative (black) clamp (C) to free end of
jumper cable. Rock or twist clamp back and forth to
improve connection.
5. Plug battery charger power cord into 120-volt AC
receptacle.
