Hungarian Beef, Beans, & Barley Stew

pounds beef ribs (cut for barbecue) or boneless short ribs

(16 ounce) cans red kidney beans, drained

Combine all ingredients in the crock. Stir well. Cover and cook on: Low – 10 hours;
OR High – 5 hours. Makes about 3 or 5 quarts.

Italian-Style Beef Stew

High – 3 hours. Makes about 3 or 5 quarts.
