Chapter 1 : INTRODUCTION
1-1. SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT

• 1 External Power Supply (UK, US or EEC version).
• 1 VGA cable (HD15 male / female connector).
• 1 S.VIDEO cable (mini DIN 4 / mini DIN 4).

1-2. GENERAL INFORMATION
The POWER ™ 1024 is a computer to video scan converter, which accepts incoming inputs up to 1024x768 from any PC
(personal computer) and converts them into Video display, at low cost.
The POWER
™ 1024 is a fully stand alone external box with a dedicated, highly integrated ASIC component. This
dramatically reduces the associated "glue logic".
The scan conversion's overall hardware ensures maximum security and future-compatibility (Dos, Windows, Unix). In
addition, the PC to TV conversion will never cause interference on your data monitor.

Chapter 2 : TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
2-1. FRONT PANEL
FREEZE: Allows to freeze the displayed output (The freeze is active when the LED is turn ON).
STD / NI: 3 positions anti-flicker (non interlaced output included: NI position)
POWER: LED indicating power plugged.
2-2. REAR PANEL
POWER IN: Power supply input connector (+ 9 Vdc, 0.65 A).
VGA IN: Computer input (HD15 male connector).
S.VIDEO OUT: S.VIDEO (Y/C) output (4-pin mini DIN connector).
VGA OUT: Data monitor output (loopthrough on HD15 female connector).
COMPOSITE OUT: Composite video output (RCA connector).
STD / OVER: Standard (STD) or Overscan image mode.
• [standard] = The entire image is visible on the screen.
• [overscan] = The image is displayed about 8 % bigger than in standard mode, to avoid seeing
the corners and the borders. Standard TV display mode is overscan.
