USE OF STANDARD SEAT BELT
9• Place the base on the vehicle seat; the
preferred position is in the middle of
the back seat. Thread the vehicle lap
belt around the base through the slots
highlighted with arrow and buckle.
10•If a lap/shoulder belt is used, the
shoulder strap must not be placed in
the slot, as shown in the picture.
11•Once the seat belt is buckled tighten
the base on the seat pulling the seat
belt. Adjust the screen knob until the
ball in the side indicator is in green
area. Press down on the base using
your body weight and tighten the
harness further. If the ball rolls on the
red area, please adjust the screw
further until the ball returns in the
green area. The harness may have to
be loosened slightly to raise the base.
Pull on the base to see if it is securely
mounted. There should be very little
movement side to side or front to rear.
The base is ready for car seat fitting.
NOTE: Refer to section “VEHICLE SEAT
BELTS” for different belt configurations and
in case of use of the locking clip.

9• Placez la base sur le siège du véhicule.
La position idéale est au milieu du
siège arrière. Enfilez la ceinture
abdominale du véhicule autour de la
base à travers les fentes mises en
évidence par une flèche et une boucle.
10•Si une ceinture abdominale/épaulière
est utilisée, la sangle de l’épaulière ne
doit pas être placée dans la fente,
comme indiqué dans la figure.
11•Une fois que le siège-auto est attaché,
serrez la base du siège en tirant la
ceinture de sécurité. Ajustez la poignée
de protection jusqu’à ce que la bille de
l’indicateur latéral soit dans la zone
verte. Pressez sur la base en utilisant la
force de votre poids et serrez
davantage le harnais. Si la bille roule
dans la zone rouge, ajustez davantage
la vis jusqu’à ce quelle retourne dans la
zone verte. Il est possible que le harnais
doive être légèrement relâché pour
surélever la base. Tirez la base pour
vérifier si elle est montée en toute
sécurité. Il devrait avoir très peu de jeu
d’un côté à l’autre ou de l’avant vers
l’arrière. La base est prête à être
encastrée.
REMARQUE: Voir partie "CEINTURES DE
SÉCURITÉ DU VÉHICULE" pour les
différentes positions de ceintures et en cas
d'utilisation du clip de blocage.
