FONCTIONS SPECIALES
NOTE :Pour activer la fonction Bagel ou Décongélation, vous
devez en premier lieu intr oduire le pain dans l'appareil, puis
appuyer sur le bouton correspondant à la fonction désirée. Ces
fonctions ne seront pas accessibles si vous appuyez sur le bouton
avant d'introduir e le pain dans l'appar eil.
1. Fonction "Bagel"
Coupez toujours les bagels horizontalement avant de les rôtir .
Disposez les bagels dans le grille-pain de telle manière que les
faces tranchées soient tournées vers le centr e du grille-pain.
Déposez les bagels dans le grille-pain. Lorsque les tranches
descendent dans le grille-pain, appuyez immédiatement sur le
bouton "BAGEL" . Un témoin ro uge s'allumera juste à côté du
bouton, pour indiquer que l'appareil est en "cycle Bagel". Cette
fonction fait en sorte que chaque tranche soit rôtie uniquement
sur le côté tranché (laissant le côté extérieur du bagel tendre).
En outre, cette fonction convient parfaitement aux muf fins
anglais.
2. Fonction "Décongélation"
Déposez le pain, les gauffr es ou autres pr oduits de boulangerie
congelés dans le grille-pain. Appuyez immédiatement sur le
bouton "DEFROST" . Un témoin rouge s'allumera juste à côté
du bouton, pour indiquer que l'appareil est en "cycle
Décongélation". Le grille-pain décongèlera le pain, puis
passera automatiquement au mode de rôtissage. Cette
méthode permet d'atteindre le degré de rôtissage idéal pour le
pain, les gauffr es, etc.

ADVANCED FEATURES
NOTE: To activate the Bagel or Defrost setting, you must first
place the bread into the bread slot(s), then press the appropriate
button. These functions will not work properly if you press the but-
ton, THEN place the bread in the slot(s).
1. Using the "Bagel" Setting
Always slice bagels into equal halves before toasting. Arrange
bagel so each "cut" side will be toward the center of the
Toaster. Place bagel into Bread Slot(s). After bread has lowered,
immediately press "BAGEL" button. A red LED next to the
button will light, indicating the Toaster is in Bagel cycle. This
changes the toasting cycle to heat only one side of EACH
bread slot—toasting the bagel only on the "cut" side (keeping
the rest of the bagel chewy). The Bagel setting works great for
English Muffins, too!
2. Using the "Defrost" Setting
Place frozen bread, waffles, etc. into Bread Slot(s).
Immediately press the "DEFROST" button. A red LED next to
the button will light, indicating the Toaster is in the Defrost
cycle. The Toaster will defrost the bread, etc. and then auto-
matically switch to the toasting cycle. This allows the bread,
waffles, etc. to reach the proper browning selection.
