Cleaning the Cyclone Separator

step I

Twist lid to the

unlock position and
pull the dirt con­
tainer bin off the
cyclonic separator.

Step II

The separator
should be cleaned
with a soft brush

and wiped with a
damp cloth. The
dirt container bin
may be wiped to
clean.

step III

Leave the separator

to dry completely
before replacing.

IMPORTANT: The

cyclonic separator
should not be sub­
merged in water

Step IV

Replace the dirt

container as direct­
ed, by twisting lid
to the locked pos­
tion.

Cleaning the Pre-Motor Filter

NOTE: This is located underneath the dirt container bin.

step I

Release the pre­

motor filter cover
by lifting up the
tab. Lift off the
filter cover to gain
access to the filter.
Remove the filter
by pulling the tab
towards you.

Separate the foam
filter from the fab­
ric cassette. Each
filter can be tapped
against the side
of a trash can to
remove the excess
dirt and dust.

step III

The pre-motor

filter may be
rinsed in warm

water. Allow to air

dry for 24 hours

before replacing.

NOTE: Do not use

any detergents or

boiling water to
wash the filters.
For best perfor­

mance, the foam
filter should be
cleaned each time
the dirt container is
emptied.

step IV

Once completely
dry, return the

pre-motor filter

and cassette to the

vacuum cleaner.

Replace the pre­

motor filter cover
before restarting
the vacuum cleaner.
