Using the Xmidi 1 x 1
The Xmidi 1 x 1 has one MIDI In and one MIDI
Out Port.

MIDI In Connector (blue)
Connect a MIDI device’s output to this
5-pin DIN connector.
MIDI Out Connector (black)
Connect a MIDI device’s input to this 5-pin
DIN connector.
MIDI Activity LEDs
These LEDs Illuminate when activity occurs
on the corresponding input or output.
Power LED
This LED Illuminates when the Xmidi 1 x 1 is
receiving power via USB.
USB Connector
Plug the USB Connector into your
computer.

Applications
The Xmidi 1 x 1 works with any application that
requires/utilizes MIDI.
Windows XP
In software such as Steinberg Cubase or Cake-
walk Sonar, the Xmidi
1 x 1 In and Out ports will
appear as:
E-MU XMidi 1 x 1 Midi In
E-MU XMidi 1 x 1 Midi Out
Mac OS X
In most audio applications, the Xmidi
1 x 1 ports
should appear as the name of whatever device
you attached to them in the Audio MIDI Setup
utility.
Uninstalling
Windows XP users should make sure the
device is
unplugged from the computer before
running the uninstaller.
