(1) Unwind the Power Cord far enough to plug into a wail outiet, aliowing enough iength

to operate the iron.

(2) If the Power Cord seems hard to unwind due to improper winding, puii firmiy untii it

is released.

(3) When retracting the Power Cord, always hold the Plug with one hand whiie pressing

the Cord Wind Button with the other hand, and retract the Cord slowly.

(4) If the Cord does not retract completely, pull it out slightly and wind it again while guiding

it into the Reel.

The Temperature Selector Dial of the Panasonic iron has words, dots and steam symbols.

a) The numbers are indicated as 1 (lowest setting) through 5 (highest setting). For general

information on the number settings, refer to the Heel Rest. For more detailed information,

refer to page 12 of this instruction book.

b) The dots are symbols for 3 temperature ranges:

• Low Temperature

•• Medium Temperature
