- It is strongly advised that the appliance not be moved while it is hot. Use protective gloves when
handling particularly hot parts.
- The drip tray must be handled while the appliance is cold.
- Wait for the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
- Close the tap of the gas cylinder after using butane/propane gas.
- Any modification of the appliance may be dangerous.
- Depending on your order, we recommend 6 Kg or 13 Kg cylinders of commercial Butane or
Propane, using the appropriate pressure regulator.
- Do not use an adjustable regulator.
- The openings on the casing must not be obstructed.
- The underneath of the appliance must be kept well ventilated to ensure good air circulation to the
burner.
- Recommended hot plate height: 85 to 95 cm from the ground for a comfortable working position.
- This appliance can operate using a natural gas supply; consult your retailer. Any appliance that
operates on natural gas must be placed on a fixed work top; carts or trolleys must not be used.
CONNECTION TO GAS SUPPLY
- The plancha grill must be connected using the connection at the rear of the appliance using a
flexible metal hose that complies with standard NF D 36121 for natural gas and NF D 36125 for
third-family Butane/Propane gases.
- Check the connection for any gas leaks using soapy water.
- Never test for leaks using a flame.
BUTANE/PROPANE
Connection for use of your appliance in category I3
For G30 Butane gas, use an NF 28 mbar pressure regulator
- NFD36-125 flexible metal hose with an unlimited life / length: 1 m
- XPD36-112 flexible hose with a 10-year life / length: 1 m
G31 PROPANE
Use an NF 37 mbar pressure regulator
- Nipple-type end pieces must not be used
- NFD36-125 flexible metal hose / length: 1 m
- XPD36-112 flexible hose / length: 1 m
NATURAL GAS
Connection for use of your appliance in category 12E+
For G20 Natural gas
- Butane nipple-type end pieces must not be used
- NFD36-121 flexible metal hose
- NFD36-103 flexible hose
The flexible hose must not be subjected to stresses or twisted. Check that it is in good condition and
do not hesitate to change it if it looks cracked or slightly burned.
- The plancha grill must be connected using the connection at the rear of the appliance.
