Dear Customer,

You are the new owner of a Krampouz crepe maker, whose qualities are appreciated by many users.
To be able to use it in the best conditions, we advise you to read this manual carefully. The instructions and
advice enclosed will help you to find out about the qualities of your new appliance efficiently.
The family electric crepe makers are simple and safe to use because of their adjustable up to 300° C. They are
equipped with an enameled cast iron griddle with 2 heating elements in micro tube.
They are designed on the same lines as our professional models and allow you to maker crepes as quickly and
just as well as chefs in creperies.
Reception and unpacking

The possible damages due to the transportation have to be mentioned to the carrier by recorded delivery letter
with acknowledgement of receipt within 24 hours following the delivery. You also have to mention reserves on
the receipt of the carrier of the damages noticed at the delivery.

Work surface – work area
Choose an easy to clean work surface on which to place your appliance
The appliance must not be placed less than 20 cm from surfaces which are not heat resistant, because of the
griddle’s heat radiation. For an ideal working position, the advisable height of the griddle in relation to the
ground is between 85 and 95 cm.

Connecting up to electricity supply


The appliance is delivered with a power supply cord of the type H05RNF with 3 wires
(live + neutral + earth), with a cross sectional area of 1.5 mm². It must be connected to a
230 Volt main supply single phase to a twin pin socket rated at 16 amps with an earth.
If you have to change the power supply cable, read carefully the above instructions and
references and the following drawing.

Necessary equipment


Here is a list of advisable accessories for successful crêpe making:
A spreader (18 to 20 centimetres) to spread the batter (one wooden rake 18 cm supplied with the machine)
A wooden or stainless steel spatula to remove the crêpe (one wooden spatula 40 cm supplied with the machine)
A rolled cloth of good cotton to wipe the griddle or the wiper pads Krampouz ATG1 or ATG5
A little oil to grease the griddles
A container of 6 to 10 litre capacity for your batter
A ladle size no. 6 or 7 (or more) depending on the thickness of crêpe required.
