Opening the cabinet
1. Turn the unit off and unplug it.
2. Remove the child-proof access screw
at the back near the top of the unit.
Do not discard it as you will need it
later.
3. To remove the four buttons located
around the top edge, press down on
the top cover. At the same time, press
against the perforated screen directly
below a button. The button will pop out
slightly. Pull the button out all the way.
Repeat for all four buttons. Once all four
buttons are out, remove the metal
cover.
Pre-filter
1. Lift the complete filter cartridge
assembly from the unit. Remove and
discard the carbon prefilter.
2.Wrap the new prefilter around the
HEPA cartridge completely enclosing it.
Peel off the adhesive strip backing and
press the filter together to seal it.
3. Put the filter cartridge back in the
unit.
HEPA filter
1. Remove and carefully discard the old
HEPA cartridge.
2. Insert a new HEPA cartridge, com-
plete with new Pre-filter and Inner
Blanket.
3. Place a new O-ring seal in the outer
groove in the top of the HEPA cartridge.
If the O-ring appears too big, pinch it in
several places until it fits in the groove.
Inner Blanket
1. Fold the ends of the old Inner Blanket
in and remove it from the unit.
2. Insert the new Inner Blanket inside the
HEPA filter with the edges overlapped by
at least one inch. Once it is in position
press the Inner Blanket tightly against the
inner screen until the ends butt together.
V.O.C. Cartridge (OPTIONAL)
The V.O.C. Cartridge is used in place of
the Inner Blanket.
1. Carefully slide the V.O.C. Cartridge into
the HEPA filter. Do not drop it as it is
heavy and may damage the unit.
Closing the cabinet
1. Position the top cover on the unit with
the child-proof access screw hole at the
rear of the unit.
2. Replace the buttons by applying firm
pressure to the top cover to align the
holes and insert the buttons.
3. Replace the child-proof access screw.
Plug the unit in and turn it on.
FILTER REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
HEPA Filter Replacement
As the HEPA filter captures particulates, it will
darken over time. Replace the HEPA filter
when it darkens to example D.

1.Placez l’interr upteur en position »OFF» et
débranchez la pr ise de courant.
2.Retirez la vis d’accès (arr ière de l’appareil)
par les enfants ,près du dessus de l’a p-
pareil.Conser vez cette vis; v ous en aurez
besoin.
3.P our retirer les 4 boutons situés autour de la
bordure supér ieure,a ppuyez sur le couv er-
cle supérieur .En même temps ,a ppuyez sur
l’écran perf oré situé directement sous le
bouton.Le bouton s’ouvr ira légèrement.
Extray ez le bouton complètement.Répétez
l’opération pour tous les boutons .Lor sque
les boutons sont retirés,enle vez le couv er-
cle.
Préfiltre
1.Le vez toute la car touche de filtr ation de
l’appareil. Retirez et jetez le préfiltre au
charbon.
2.Enroulez le nouv eau préfiltre autour de la
cartouche HEP A pour l’encercler com-
plètement.Retirez l’endos de la bande
adhésive et a ppuyez sur les deux par ties
du filtre pour les sceller .
3.Remettez la car touche de filtr ation dans
l’appareil.
Filtre HEP A
1.Retirez et jetez av ec soin la vieille car-
touche HEP A.
2.Insérez la nouv elle cartouche HEP A avec le
nouveau préf iltre et le coussin intérieur .
3.Placez un nouv eau joint torique dans l’en-
coche extérieure pr atiquée à la partie
supérieure de la car touche HEP A. Si le joint
semble trop gr os,p incez-le à plusieurs
endroits jusqu’à ce qu’il puisse être inséré
dans l’encoche.
Coussin intérieur
1.Pliez les extrémités du vieux coussin intér ieur
et retirez-le de l’appareil.
2.Insérez le nouv eau coussin intérieur dans le
filtre HEP A; chevauchez les extrémités sur un
pouce au moins.U ne fo is que le coussin est
en place,enf oncez-le dans l’écran intér ieur
jusqu’à ce que les extrémités se rencon-
trent.
Cartouche des CO V (OPTIONNEL)
La cartouche des CO V remplace le coussin
intérieur .
1.Insérez la car touche des COV av ec soin
dans le filtre HEP A.Attention de ne pas
échapper cette lour de cartouche pour ne
pas endommager l’a ppareil.
Ferm eture du coffret
1.Placez le couv ercle sur l’a ppareil et placez
vers l’arr ière la vis de protection contre
l’accès par les enfants .
2.Remettez les boutons en a ppliquant une
pression fe rm e sur le dessus du couver cle;
alignez les orifices et insérez les boutons .
3.Remettez en place la vis de pr otection
contre l’accès par les enfants .B ranchez
l’appareil et mettez-le en m arche.

REPLAC EMENT DU FILTRE HEP A
À mesure que le filtre HEP A retient les particules ,il
noircir a gr aduellement. Remplacez le filtre HEP A
lorsqu’il par vient à la couleur indiquêe en D.
