5. As you push the Bottom Strap upward, introduce the Star Head
Bolt through the End Support & Straps. Using the T-Handle wrench
provided, fasten the Straps together - ensuring they are fixed in the
correct positions along the side rail as specified in (Fig. 5) on the first
page. Gradually tighten bolts alternatively ensuring Straps are
properly engaged, until even tensioning is achieved.

6. Re-Install the locking covers: there are two
designated channels on the End Supports into which the
cover ribs locate.(Fig. 6). Insert the Cover into the End
Support by sliding it through the channels until they
positively engage. Then re-lock the covers to fasten.

Ensure bars are parallel and straps are tightened against the

side rails. Perform a check by tugging on the cross bars.

REGULARLY CHECK THE TIGHTNESS OF LOCKING
STRAPS.

Loads should be evenly distributed and secured
