3-PRONG PLUG
This appliance is equipped with a grounded-type 3-wire cord (3-prong
plug). This plug will only fit into an electrical outlet made for a 3-prong
plug. This is a safety feature. If the plug should fail to fit the outlet, contact
and electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature. This is the purpose of the grounding pin as part of the 3-
prong plug. Since the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord
should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
Ashort power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. The use of an
extension cord is not recommended.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance
may not operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical
circuit from other appliances.
PLASTICIZER WARNING
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers to migrate from the finish of the
countertop or tabletop or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or
placemats between the appliance and the finish of the countertop or
tabletop. Failure to do so may cause the finish to darken, permanent
blemishes may occur or stains can appear.
FICHE À TROIS LAMES A VEC MISE À LA TERRE
Par mesure de sécurité, cet appareil est muni d’une fiche à trois lames avec
mise à la terre. Cette fiche ne peut être insérée que dans une prise murale à
trois orifices. Si la prise murale ne correspond pas à la fiche, faire appel à
un électricien pour faire remplacer la prise. Ne pas tenter de contourner ce
dispositif de sécurité. Com me cet appareil est doté d’un dispositif de mise à la
terre, toute rallonge utilisée doit être également munie d’une fiche à tr ois lames
avec mise à la terre.
CORDON ÉLECTRIQUE
Le cordon électrique est court (ou amovible) afin de réduire les risques
d’enchevêtrement et d’accident. L’utilisation d’une rallonge n’est pas
recommandée.
ALIMENTA TION ÉLECTRIQUE
Si le circuit électrique est surchargé, l’appareil pourrait ne pas fonctionner
de façon adéquate. Il faut alors le brancher sur un autre circuit électrique.
MISE EN GARDE SUR LES PLASTIFIANTS
MISE EN GARDE :Pour protéger les plastifiants du plan de travail, de la
table ou de toute autre surface, placer un dessous-de-plat ou un napperon
fait de matière AUTRE QUE LE PLASTIQUEentre l’appareil et la sur face de
travail, faute de quoi le fini pourrait être noirci, endommagé ou taché.
