Identifying the parts
Handset
1 NEW CALL/MESSAGES lamp

Flashes when there is a “NEW”
data in the Caller ID list or message.
2 Display window (p. 16, 20, 31)
3 ERASE/CLEAR button
(p. 13, 27, 33, 41)
Used to erase a stored Phone
Directory memory or Caller ID
data, go off the NEW CALL/
MESSAGES lamp manually, end
the operation during the procedure.
4 CALL WAITING/FLASH button
(p. 19, 40)
Switches to a second call if you
have “call waiting” service, or lets
you make a new call.
5 HANDSET VOLUME switch
(p. 17)
Adjusts the handset volume.
6 ONE-TOUCH DIAL buttons

Used to store numbers on the one-
touch dial.
7 Dialing keys (p. 16)
8 TONE button (p. 17)
Allows you to switch temporarily to
tone dialing.
9 PGM button (p. 10, 20)
Used to access the menu.

Adjusts the ringer volume.
