Calculations
During construction, temporarily assemble the
wood making sure all pieces line up. Assemble
the box before cutting the holes for the
subwoofers. After the box is assembled, connect
an amplifier to the subwoofer, and listen for
whistling noises and buzzes. If the box will be mounted in a vehicle, it should be fastened
securely. “L” shaped brackets work adequately.
Simple Math
To build a box, some math calculations must be
made using the formulas below.
Subwoofer box calculations will need math conversions to make
the numbers easier to work with. Use the conversions listed.
