Symptom Possible Cause Remedy
Voltage Meter reading is
quite far from “standard”
120-volts. The incoming AC from the local power company can vary
widely even on normal days, and during “brownouts”
may go much lower than normal. Use a Monster Power AVS (automatic voltage stabilizer) to automatically keep AC
voltage within the consistent range required for optimal home theater performance. •
The PowerCenter
is emitting a loud
buzzing alarm. The PowerCenter protection circuitry has sacrificed
itself to protect connected equipment from
a catastrophic surge. The PowerCenter must be replaced. See the Warranty Information section
for important details. •
