Introduction to E-Series Cabinets

The E series cabinet range from Eden is designed to provide affordable bass speaker cabinets that are able to

perform in any situation. Designed from the ground up, important details in the engineering of the cabinets such

as the construction of the internal frame work and porting are carefully considered whilst each cabinet is loaded

with speakers designed specifically chosen to allow the cabinet to produce fantastic response, volume and tone.

Remember the more speakers you have the louder you will sound There are 3 main different types of E series

cabinet each with their own benefits.

• Standard E-Series

- These are recognized by the presence of a silver horn behind the metal grille on

the front of the cabinet and a crossover control on the reverse of the cabinet. These cabinets benefit from a

separate tweeter which can be dialed in or out to your taste enabling you to push higher frequencies forward in

your sound after the amplifier stage.

• Whizzer Cone Cabinets -

Smaller single speaker 10” and 12” cabinets feature a whizzer cone design this

allows the cabinet design to remain super compact whilst retaining the upper and mid level frequencies which

are often lost with this type of cabinet. This 2 cone design allows the cabinet to sound much more open and

responsive.

• SC Model Cabinets -

These are the most simple to use cabinet from Eden, these have no horn or

crossover control but have been tuned and voiced to provide a great sound right out of the box, simple to set

up the SC models in the E series provide the perfect no nonsense back up for someone looking for the most

affordable way to enjoy great bass performance in a really compact package.

Speaker sizes and configurations Choosing the right speaker size and configuration is a matter of personal taste,

15” speakers take a longer time to respond due to the larger surface area of the cones but produce a generally

warmer fatter sound. Smaller 10” cones offer much faster response. Finding the right choice for you will be a

matter of experimentation. Generally with good amplification and a little tweaking all of our cabinets can deliver

the tone you need.
